1. Registration Process

Login credentials are sent within 24 hours. Participants receive 180 days of platform access.

5. GIC1 Open Book Examination
The 24-hour online open book examination conducted by NEBOSH is completed.
6. GIC2 Risk Assessment
Participants carry out a workplace risk assessment and upload it to the platform provided by NEBOSH.
7. Results and Certification
Results are typically announced within approximately 70 days. Participants who successfully complete both units are entitled to receive the NEBOSH GIC certificate.

The NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is an internationally recognised qualification accredited by SQA Accreditation.
The qualification:

There are no formal entry requirements for this training programme.
However, it is recommended that participants have a basic level of English proficiency and occupational health and safety awareness.

NEBOSH recommends an English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above for English-language training programmes.
✔ A minimum of 90% of all course presentations must be completed.
✔ Participants are expected to complete the course workbook in full.
✔ All assigned tasks and activities must be completed within the specified timeframes.
✔ In the event of any learning difficulty, participants are expected to inform us as soon as possible.
✔ Failure to meet the stated requirements will result in the responsibility for completing the outstanding sections remaining with the participant.

✔ The first examination to be taken within the first 4 months after registration is included in the training fee.
✔ If a participant is unsuccessful in any examination, they may re-sit the relevant examination by paying the applicable examination fee.

✔ The delivery of the printed certificate to the learner’s address within Türkiye is included in the fee and is sent by insured delivery. If the learner wishes the certificate to be sent to an address outside Türkiye, collection of the certificate from the NTSS address must be arranged by the learner, and all related costs are the learner’s responsibility.
✔ Examinations cannot be postponed or cancelled after the registration deadline.
✔ If you request to postpone your examination before the registration deadline, a price difference may apply. Please contact us to confirm the applicable fee.

Is the course fully online?
Yes. Course materials can be accessed 24/7 through the online learning platform.
Is the certificate internationally recognised?
Yes. NEBOSH GIC is an internationally recognised qualification accepted worldwide.
Is the NEBOSH certificate still valid if I do not complete it in English?
Yes. NEBOSH supports participants in completing their training and examinations in their native languages.
Regardless of the language in which the training and examinations are completed, the official certificate is issued in English. The certificate does not state the language of the training or the name of the training provider.
How long does it take to complete the course?
Participants are recommended to take the examination within approximately 7 months from the date of registration.
How is the open book examination conducted?
The GIC1 unit is conducted as an online Open Book Examination (OBE). Participants download the questions from the NEBOSH platform, prepare their answers offline, and upload them back to the system within the specified timeframe.
Is tutor support available?
Yes. Participants are provided with tutor support, academic guidance, and assessment-related guidance throughout the training process.
In which languages can I attend the course and examinations?
Courseand examination processes can be completed in Turkish, English, or Russian.
Can I attend the examination from any country?
Yes. As long as you have an internet connection, you can attend the training and examinations from anywhere in the world except Russia.
Is it necessary to turn on the camera during the examination?
There is no live invigilation during NEBOSH digital open book examinations. However, all participants are required to comply with NEBOSH academic integrity rules.
When are examination results announced?
Results are generally announced within approximately 50–70 days from the examination date.
If I fail the examination, can I retake it?
Yes. Participants may retake the failed unit within 5 years by creating a new examination registration. Tutor and learning material support are provided following a new registration.
Is prior health and safety knowledge required to start the training?
No. NEBOSH GIC is suitable for both beginner-level participants and experienced professionals.
Can I access the learning materials from mobile devices?
Yes. The learning platform can be accessed via computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
How long is the platform access period?
Participants will have access to the learning platform until the end of the month in which their scheduled examination takes place. Participants who are unsuccessful in the examination will be re-enrolled on the platform after paying the relevant examination fees and will again have access until the end of the month in which the examination takes place.
Are live classes or workshops provided?
Online workshops and tutor support sessions may be organised during certain periods within the programme.
